Our Vision

To have our unique curriculum-based package of audio-visual, interactive and print resources used every day in learning environments across North America and globally via the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and distribution partners in other countries.

VEA is committed to excellence in the field of production, marketing and distribution of educational video resources.

VEA (Video Education America) was founded in Fall 2006. VEA (USA) is part of a group of companies incorporating VEA (Video Education Australasia - founded 1978) with operations in Australia and New Zealand and Classroom Video (established in 1984) with operations in Australia and the UK.

With key distribution and customer service centers located in New York, VEA produces over 100 educational programs a year, each specifically correlating to the curriculum, and designed to bring learning to life for students across the USA and Canada.

VEA produce educational programs suitable for ages from elementary through to college, across all subject areas of the curriculum and free teacher notes compliment the majority of our programs. Available to download and print from the web site, these free resources are an excellent supplement to VEA’s programs.

VEA also acquire distribution rights from key educational suppliers to supplement subject our catalogs and ensure a broad and quality selection of programs is always available.

Preview or Approval Orders

Titles may be ordered on approval for the cost of shipping and handling and is available to qualified educational institutions. Preview orders are invoiced with a 100% satisfaction guarantee valid for 30 days from the date of invoice.

No claims or returns will be accepted after 30 days from the date of invoice, unless prior arrangements have been made. Customers are liable for the cost of return post charges and are liable for the cost of goods returned damaged, marked and/or scratched.

Online Preview

You can view 5-minute clips of all VEA titles online. This is an ideal and convenient way to immediately assess video resources and save on postal charges.

There are usually two versions available for each program, one suitable for viewing over a slow (modem) connection to the internet, and the other requiring a fast/broadband, connection. The fast version is of a much better quality.

As of Fall 2007, some of our newer productions will include full length previews.

Individual consumers, home schools and businesses must pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard), pre-paid check, pre-paid money order or direct debit (call, fax or email for out bank account number).

Unless specified otherwise, all orders are shipped via UPS Ground service. (Orders from customers in Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. Territories may choose to have their orders shipped via U.S. Priority Mail). Orders which are received by 2PM EST and are in stock will be shipped the same business day from New York. Priority shipping or next day delivery is available, please contact us for details.

Please provide a street address for shipping purposes.

  • All orders less than $1,500.00 will be charged 8% of the total order.
  • All orders over $1,500.00 will be charged 5% of the total order for shipping and handling.

All shipping and handling charges are automatically calculated for orders placed on the web site and can be viewed on the final Order Summary screen.

Why didn’t I receive a confirmation e-mail after I placed my order online?

How can I access a teacher’s guide for the product I just purchased?

Teacher's guides and other related resources are provided free of charge for specific titles. To locate the resources available for a product, search for the product and then click on the Teacher Notes link. You do not have to be a registered user to access these resources. However, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat installed to view any resources in PDF format.

Technical FAQ’s

I am trying to view a preview clip for a specific product but no video is playing. What do I need to do?

In order to view the preview video clips available for some products you must have Microsoft Windows Media Player loaded on your computer. To download a free version of this software, click here.

Why doesn't the Shopping Cart remember any of my products?
